Participants will be trained, certified, and made field-ready in the following critical skills:

1. Sub-sea Engineering

   (Wellheads, flowlines, umbilicals, sub-sea trees, etc.)

2. Underwater Welding

3. Control & Automation Engineering

   (Cementing, well control, rig operations)

4. Helicopter Piloting

5. Seamen/Sailors Training

   (Vessel mechanics, vessel electricians, marine support)

6. Production & Maintenance Engineering

   (Control Room Operators, Maintenance Crew)

7. QA/QC Engineering

   (Including NDT Levels 1, 2, and 3)

8. Geoscience Engineering

Be below 35 years old

* Possess *OND, HND, or BSc* in any of the following disciplines:

  * Electrical Engineering

  * Gas Engineering

  * Civil Engineering

  * Welding/Metallurgy

  * Geology

  * Geophysics

  * Computer Science/Engineering

This program is strictly for graduates from accredited institutions.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)

Your application process depends on whether you already have a profile on the NOGICJQS portal.

1. New Applicants

* Create an account at: nogicjqs.gov.ng/accounts/login:

* Update your profile and academic records

* Complete the NCDMB Oil & Gas Field Readiness Training Program registration

2. Applicants With an Incomplete Profile

* Log in to the portal

* Update your profile and academic details

* Proceed to register for the program

3. Applicants With a Complete Profile

* Simply log in and register for the training program

*Note:* Each applicant may choose *a maximum of three (3) skills*, arranged according to preference.

*Program Structure & Duration*

The Field Readiness Program is designed to equip participants with practical, industry-ready skills. The structure includes:

*Classroom Training

*Laboratory/Workshop Practicals*

*Skills Certifications*

*On-the-Job Training (OJT)*

Participants will undergo a minimum of 12 months of skill development, while some specialised areas may run longer.

The OJT segment will last at least six months, conducted in partnership with recognised service companies in the oil and gas sector.
