NIGERIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT 2026 – BATCH 39

The Nigerian Navy has announced the 2026 Recruitment Exercise for Basic Training School Batch 39.

‎✅ GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
‎
‎Applicants must:
‎
‎🔹 Be Nigerian citizens by birth.
‎🔹 Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
‎🔹 Be medically, psychologically and physically fit.
‎🔹 Meet the Nigerian Navy medical and employment standards.
‎🔹 Have no previous criminal conviction by a court of law.
‎🔹 Be at least 1.69m tall for males and 1.65m for females.
‎🔹 Be proficient in English Language.
‎
‎⚠️ Only ONE application is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
‎
‎🎓 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
‎
‎1️⃣ O’Level/SSCE Applicants
‎
‎🔹 Age: 18–22 years as at 31 December 2026.
‎🔹 Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
‎🔹 Results must be obtained in not more than 2 sittings.
‎🔹 Accepted: WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB.
‎🔹 Results must not be older than 2020.

‎2️⃣ OND/NCE Applicants
‎
‎🔹 Age: 18–26 years as at 31 December 2026.
‎🔹 Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than 2 sittings.
‎🔹 Relevant results must not be older than 2015.
‎
‎Chaplain/Imam Assistant & Driver/Mechanic:
‎🔹 Age: 18–28 years as at 31 December 2026.

‎3️⃣ TRADESMEN
‎
‎Applicants in the following trades must possess relevant Trade Test Certificates:
‎
‎🔹 Tailoring
‎🔹 Carpentry
‎🔹 Plumbing
‎🔹 Masonry
‎🔹 Welding
‎🔹 Electrical Work
‎🔹 Painting
‎🔹 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology
‎
‎Applicants must also have the required O-Level credits, including English Language.
‎
‎4️⃣ MEDICAL-RELATED PROFESSIONS
‎
‎🔹 Must possess an ND from a recognised training institution in Nigeria.
‎🔹 Must have a valid practising licence.
‎
‎5️⃣ SPORTS
‎
‎🔹 Sports applicants must provide evidence of experience, including relevant certificates and medals.
‎
