Ogun State Announces Recruitment for OgunTEACh Internship Program

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the Ogun State Technical and Vocational Education Board (OGSTVEB), has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring educators. The Ogun State Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel (OgunTEACh) Internship Program is set to address the shortage of teachers in public primary, secondary, and technical colleges across the state.

This internship is part of a strategic intervention aimed at boosting the state’s education sector by providing capable individuals with hands-on teaching experience. Eligibility Criteria for Ogunteach

To be considered for this program, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • For General Education Positions: A National Certificate in Education (NCE) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.A. Ed, or B.Sc. Ed, with at least a Second Class Lower Division in a relevant subject area.
  • For Non-Education Graduates: Candidates from non-education backgrounds are required to have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from a recognized institution.
  • For Technical College Positions: A B.Sc. Ed in Technical Education, B.Sc. in Engineering, B.Eng., or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in an engineering-related field.
