The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has officially flagged off the 2nd Phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI)—a bold Federal Government effort to tackle unemployment, boost self-reliance, and create job opportunities across Nigeria.

What Is the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative?

Under the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government, the NDE is rolling out a nationwide empowerment campaign that provides free access to vocational, digital, agricultural, and entrepreneurial training programs. Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or looking to upgrade your skills, this initiative is your chance to build a better future.

Available Training Categories

Participants can register for a wide range of training programs, including:

🔹 Rural Employment Promotion Programme

• Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Scheme (SADTS)
• Organic Agricultural Training Scheme (OATS)
• Fish Production & Feed Formulation Training Scheme (PFFFTS)
• Micro-livestock & Goat Production Empowerment (MATS, SSGPES)

🔹 Small Scale Enterprises Programme

• Start Your Own Business (SYOB)
• Enterprise & Finance Counseling Clinic (NDE-efcc)
• Matured Peoples’ Programme (MPP)
• Micro Enterprises Enhancement Scheme (MEES)
• Basic Business Training (BBT)

🔹 Vocational Skills Development Programme

• Quick-Fix Demand Driven Empowerment
• Digital Skills Training
• Community-Based Empowerment
• Techno-Cultural Crafts
• Training for Persons with Special Needs & Internally Displaced Persons

🔹 Special Public Works Programme

• Solar Energy Training
• Environmental Beautification Scheme
• Graduate Attachment Programme (GAP)
• Graduate Coaching Scheme (GCS)
