Ruth Titilayo Technical & Vocational Scholarship Opportunity, 2025

Are you seeking a scholarship opportunity? If so, the Ruth Titilayo Foundation is pleased to offer a grant package. Moreover, it is awarded to successful candidates who are planning to study or are currently enrolled in single courses supported through approved Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs) as outlined by the National Board for Technical Education. Therefore, this scholarship provides valuable support for those pursuing vocational education.

Eligible applicants

Applicants must:

  • have a secondary school result with at least 4 credits.
  • either be a student at the time of application or have been registered as a student within the last two years.

Value

The grant consists of:

  • tuition allowance up to #100,000
  • maintenance allowance up to #15,000

The Committee decides whether to pay further allowances, such as internal travel costs related to study, research, or fieldwork expenses.

Candidate assessment

Candidates will be assessed:

  • on academic merit.
  • based on the information provided in your scholarship application.

You will also need to submit a personal statement, current school results, and two written references from the tutors listed in your application form. You will be shortlisted based on providing the above and any other relevant information.

If the panel shortlists you, they will invite you for an online interview and ask you a series of competency-based questions related to your current year group.

The application window will run from 1st October 2024 to 31st October 2024. The selection team will contact shortlisted candidates starting from 11th November 2024. Following this, they will conduct interviews in December 2024, after which successful candidates will receive the scholarship awards.

Scholarship Application Procedures

Complete and SUBMIT the online application form on this website. This will include attached copies of your current school result, two reference letters from your tutors, a personal statement, and any supporting documents.
