In the rapidly evolving business landscape of Nigeria, the youth represent a vast pool of untapped potential and innovative ideas. However, many aspiring young entrepreneurs face significant challenges, such as a lack of access to resources, training, and support networks. This is where the Transforming Nigerian Youth Program (TNYP-Enugu) comes into play.
The Transforming Nigerian Youth Program (TNYP-Enugu) is an innovative initiative designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills among Enugu’s youth, particularly women-led microenterprises. This program is a collaboration between the Enterprise Development Center of Pan African University (EDC-PAU) and the MasterCard Foundation, two organizations dedicated to fostering economic growth and self-reliance.
TNYP-Enugu is tailored for individuals aged 18–35 years old, with a special focus on supporting women-led businesses. The program recognizes the unique challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and aims to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to overcome these obstacles and succeed in their ventures.
The program offers a holistic training experience that combines both in-person and online components. Participants can choose to attend interactive workshops and seminars led by industry experts, or access the online training modules through an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
To cater to the linguistic diversity of Enugu, TNYP-Enugu provides training in three languages: English, Igbo, and Pidgin. This inclusive approach ensures that participants can engage with the program content in the language they are most comfortable with, facilitating effective learning and knowledge retention.
The application process is straightforward, and successful applicants will receive further instructions on how to access the training materials and attend workshops.
Interested individuals can apply for the TNYP-Enugu program by filling out the registration form here.
By participating in this program, young entrepreneurs in Enugu can gain access to invaluable skills, knowledge, and networks that will empower them to navigate the competitive business landscape. Whether you’re aspiring to start your venture or seeking to scale an existing one, this program offers a unique opportunity to transform your entrepreneurial journey.
