The Youth Data Protection Awareness and Training (YDPAT) initiative is transforming how Nigerian youth engage with data, privacy, and digital security. Backed by national leaders and designed to empower young people, YDPAT aims to create a data-secure Nigeria by training and certifying 5,000 youths as Data Protection Officers (DPOs).

Check Your YDPAT Application Status
To make things easy for all applicants, YDPAT has introduced a simple and secure verification portal. You can confirm your admission or registration status by following the quick steps below.
How to Check Your Registration Status
- Visit the YDPAT Status Portal
Go to the official YDPAT website and click on “Check Your Registration Status.” - Enter Your Registered Email Address
Input the exact email address you used during registration. Make sure it matches the one in your application form. - Provide Your National Identification Number (NIN)
Enter your 11-digit NIN to verify your identity and access your application details. - Click “Check Status”
After entering your details, click the Check Status button to view your admission result or current application stage. - Follow Any On-Screen Instructions
If your admission has been approved, you’ll receive further instructions on onboarding, training schedules, or document submission.
